SFS 6002 Electrical Safety web course will provide you with the same skills as a corresponding classroom teaching would. The web course gives you freedom – you can study whenever you want to and wherever it suits you. You can move back and forth and repeat all the parts within the study time. The course is open for 30 days in Severi after you have received a separate activation e-mail concerning access rights.
Material of the course has been drafted by Henrik Rousku who works as a technical expert at Sähköinfo. The web course does not have a trainer present during the course. The exercises will be completed independently.
The web course is aimed at persons who will want to study the matters of the standard independently, easily and without time restrictions. Training in safety at electrical work in accordance with the SFS 6002 standard shall be given to all persons performing electrical work, including persons functioning in job supervision, operational and expert tasks.
The Electrical Safety Standard SFS 6002 contains the basic principles concerning safe electrical work and the safety requirements. The web course will go through the content of the standard and the national regulations concerning electrical work. Dangers of electrical current and arc hazards and the protecting oneself from them will be handled first and then the course moves on defining persons related to electrical work, organizing the work and to the responsibilities of different persons. The principles of safe work and the work procedures of electrical work will be gone through with related pictures and examples.
The web course has been divided into parts. You can complete parts one by one and continue whenever you have time for it. You have one month to finish the course. After completing all the parts you get to take the test and after successful completion you get an Electrical safety -mobile card.

To complete the web course, you will need an internet connection and a browser. There are not any other system requirements. The participants must have a functional personal email (work or private email).
